President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his gratitude to Nigerians for their prayers and support while he was away for medical vacation in London.
Addressing his Cabinet and Service Chiefs at the First Lady’s Conference Room at the Presidential Villa Abuja, President Buhari said he feels better now but might return for further treatment within some weeks.
The President added that while he is recuperating, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who has been acting in his place in the last fifty-one days, would continue to act and urged Nigerians to continue to pray for him and the country.
Welcoming the president, the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, thanked President Buhari for the trust reposed in him to act as president and lauded him for his respect for constitution.
