Death toll rises to five in Madagascar Cyclone Enawo

Death toll has risen to five, following a cyclone that made landfall in the north-east of the island of Madagascar for twelve hours on Tuesday.

According to local reports, about ten thousand people have had to leave their homes because of damage from Cyclone Enawo.

The city’s government schools have been closed as a precaution and Prime Minister Olivier Mahafaly, told employers to allow workers to stay at home.
